Today, October 7, 2025, a very special event is celebrated in Bangkok: the “Amazing Thailand mid-car 2025”. This event, that of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Tat) is aligned, the 50th anniversary of the friendship between Thailand and China is marked as part of the "Nihao Month" campaign. In keeping with this, the celebration falls into the time of the Golden Week and the lunar festival, which gives it a very special cultural note.
Around 100 Chinese Key Opinion Leaders (KOLS), Content Creator and media representatives are expected to celebrate the values of culture and tourism together. Among the guests of honor are prominent personalities such as Mr. Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, Thailand's Minister of Tourism and Sport, and Mr. Yang Xiao Long, consultant for the cultural department of the Chinese embassy in Thailand. The Tat-Gouverner Ms. Thapanee KiatphaiBool emphasizes that the focus of this event is on the strengthening of Thailand as the preferred travel destination and the promotion of cultural connections between these two countries.
Cultural highlights of the event
The topic of the event, "Mid-Autumn Festival combines Thai and Chinese culture and tourism", comes to life through various cultural performances and symbolic activities. The traditional mooncake production, led by Minister Atthakorn and other guests of honor, are planned. The well-known actor Pong Nawat Kulttanarak will also participate during a dialogue about the Thailand China relationships and the tourism sector.
The festive accompanying music is characterized by appearances by famous artists such as Billkin Putthipong Assaratanakul, who will perform both Thai and Chinese songs. These performances will be part of a broader initiative to promote cultural exchange, which consists of the "Thailand, Told by You" Ugc Challenge and a so -called Fam Trip.
Economic impulses through new initiatives

The number of visitors is already impressive: from January to September 2025, over 3.4 million tourists from China came to Thailand. These measures are underpinned by joint promotions and marketing campaigns with platforms such as Meituan, Ctrip and Alipay. These collaborations ensure that a wide audience in China is enthusiastic about the beauties of Thailand. And not to forget: live streaming activities with influential Chinese digital personalities address young travelers and families in a targeted manner.
Festive atmosphere and cultural bridges
In addition to the MID-Autumn Night, numerous other activities are also offered as part of the "Nihao Month" campaign. This includes cultural exchange programs such as Chinese calligraphy and workshops on contemporary art, which enable participants a deeper connection to Thai and Chinese culture.
With such a diverse program and numerous promotions, Thailand is well positioned to both attract Chinese tourists and strengthen cultural ties.
