Star Voyager returns: dream cruises from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur!

The Star Voyager has a lot to offer in the coming winter season 2025-2026: The popular cruise ship is finally returning to Southeast Asia and will offer new cruises from November 20, 2025 to February 5, 2026. This has delighted the travel industry as the short-term trips fit perfectly into the Christmas and New Year holidays. Travelers from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) can explore the beauties of Southeast Asia, including the beautiful Phuket and the historic Penang.

The planned cruises offer a wide range of options: 3-night weekend cruises to Penang and 4-night cruises to Phuket and Penang are planned from November 20th to December 14th, 2025. From December 18, 2025, 4-night cruises to Kuala Lumpur and Phuket are also on the program. Departure is literally direct from Singapore Cruise Center (SCC) or Port Klang Cruise Terminal (PKCT).

Cruise highlights

The sea voyages offer a variety of leisure activities that are particularly beneficial for families and adventurers. The cruises are not only a good way to spend relaxing days on the water, but also to discover the region's important sights. These include:

  • Phuket, Thailand
  • Penang, Malaysia (UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe)
  • Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang)
  • Pulau Bintan, Indonesien

The special cruises are also a highlight that travelers should not miss. A 4-night cruise from Hong Kong to Nha Trang and Singapore departs November 16, 2025, followed by a 5-night cruise from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang and back to Hong Kong departing February 8, 2026.

Flexibility for travelers

Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises, highlights the importance of diversity and flexibility for cruise passengers. This is evident in the different travel options. From short trips lasting several days to special trips, there is something for everyone. The increased travel opportunities can help stimulate tourism in the region, which is also linked to the projected stability of the travel market in Southeast Asia. Despite a stagnant annual growth rate (CAGR) of 0.00% until 2029, many companies are actively addressing the growing potential of the industry and are continuing to invest in the future.

The travel market in the ASEAN region is diverse and shows great potential for future development, including through the support of governments and the implementation of the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan. This aims to significantly improve the quality of tourism and the attractiveness of travel destinations.

Overall, the return of Star Voyager not only promises a return to popular travel experiences in Southeast Asia, but could also bring new impetus to the region. Travel enthusiasts should put the planned departures and options in their calendars now to secure the best seats and experience an unforgettable adventure.
